New Product Introduction Engineer We are looking for a New Product Introduction Engineer to oversee the important task of transferring products from development to full manufacture. Main Duties of the role: To establish "Design for Manufacture" procedures in house, and train development engineers in their use. To assist in the generation of the Production documentation package for each new product. To arrange for prototype and pre-production models to be assembled. To liaise with Contract Electronic Manufacturers regarding the assembly and test of new products. To work with suppliers to ensure the efficient manufacture of custom components. To participate in the change control of production information. Qualifications and Skills: You will have at least five years experience in a manufacturing engineering environment related to electronic products. Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics or a related discipline. The ideal person for this role will have: Diplomacy. Good communication skills, and be reliable and flexible. The ability to work on own initiative. An empathy for electronic design processes. A knowledge of mechanical design techniques.
