NEW PRODUCT RELEASES
======================
1).
Aseptic Pressure Transmitters for food, beverage
and pharmaceutical applications.

WIKA's range of products for hygienic service has been
expanded with the introduction of the SA-I I aseptic pressure
transmitter.
Designed and certified in accordance with EHEDG, the SA- I I
combines WIKA's highly-rated standard pressure transmitter
with a range of industry-standard hygienic process connections.
These include I 1/2" and 2" Tn-damp and DIN 11851.
With pressure ranges of 0...250mbar to 0...25 bar and a wide
range of signal outputs, including 4-20mA, 0-10V and switch
outputs, the SA-l I is ideally suited for use in a wide range of
applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries,
especially for CIP and SIP operations.

2). Sub nano measuring at commercial prices.
Eddy current displacement sensors capable of measuring
down to 0.08nm are being offered for less than £1,000 each.
The eddy NCDT 3700 family of sensors excite their coils at 0.5MHz.
Displacement is determined from changes in effective coil resistance
resulting from losses caused by eddy currents induced in the metal
target. They work with any electrically conducting, non-ferromagnetic
material. Resolution with an aluminium target is 0.000015% for
single channel and dual channel systems, or 0.000008% for
differential systems.
Measuring ranges are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 3 or 6mm. Repeatability figures
are given as <0.001% and 0.0005% for the two types and unearities,
+6% and +1%.

3). GE introduces New Precision Pressure Indicator -
DPI 150 offers affordable Transfer Standard Performance.

The DPI 150 presents the latest developments in sensing and
microprocessor technologies, including the company's latest
Intelligent Digital Output Sensor (IDOS), comprised within a highly
compact bench or panel-mounting instrument. Extremely competitively
priced and simple to use, the DPI 150 delivers a measurement
precision/stability performance usually associated with laboratory
reference standards.
Pressure ranges span from 25 mbar up to 200 bar and external
sensors can be supplied for remote monitoring where required.
Precision is typically 0.01% full scale (0.03% below 700 mbar)
and this includes the combined effects of non-linearity, hysteresis,
repeatability and temperature effects 18 to 28 deg C. Long term
stability is 100 ppm reading per year. A precision barometric
reference option offers 0.15 mbar precision and long term stability.

4). ATEX rated Float Switch from TAV.
TAV Engineering, the Christchurch-based specialist
fluid sensor manufacturer, can now offer full ATEX
certification, to the highest industry specification,
EExd 11C T110oC, on its range of float switches,
displacers, contents gauges and valves.
Suitable for hazardous area applications such as Fuel Storage
Tank overfill protection, where "high high" critical alarm level
indication is required, TAV float switches are supplied with
up to 4 discrete float levels with an optional manual checking
facility, for added security. For continuous level monitoring
a 4-20mA continuous output version is offered. In addition to
top mount designs, flange or screwed, side entry float switches
and displacer type sensors are also available.

5). PVL introduces IP67 Rated Pressure Switches.
PVL has introduced a new range of pre-set pressure
switches featuring an integrated M12 connector and
offering a sealed design protected to 1P67. Available
for pressures from 0.2 to 300 bar, the new switches
provide inherently reliable operation in highly demanding
applications where even 1P65 protection is not enough
to ensure long term reliability of the switch or, in extreme
situations, the assured operation of the connected circuitry.
The design integrates a 4-pin M12 connector into a newly
developed protection cap to provide a product which guarantees
high integrity whilst making installation quick and easy.
