NEW PRODUCT RELEASES
======================
1). New compact vibration modules are DIN rail mounted.
Just launched are two new DIN rail mounted
vibration modules designed for use with their
extensive range of accelerometers to provide
power to the sensor and also condition the output
signal in differing ways.
Two new modules are available, the 8006 and the 8065.
8006 powers the accelerometer with 24Vdc at 40mA and
accepts the constant current signal. This signal can be integrated,
filtered and converted to a 4-20mA current proportional to velocity,
or a standard acceleration output.

2). Adjustable Pressure Switch simplifies setting
of system pressures in the field.
New from PVL is an adjustable pressure switch that will
simplify the lives of engineers who need to tweak hydraulic,
pneumatic or lubrication systems during set up, or who
need to monitor system pressures on the fly.
The innovative PSK pressure switch provides simple adjustment
of system pressures, with two models covering the key ranges
of 10-1 O0bar and I 00-36Obar.
With its large adjusting knob, easy-to-read graduated pressure
scale and fixed hysteresis, the PSK provides simple yet reliable
adjustment of system pressure, and has been particularly
designed to help engineers monitor and set minimum or
maximum pressure in fluid circuits. Once the correct pressure
has been established, the device can be locked off via a set-point
fastening screw.

3). RDP's draw-wire displacement transducer
even measures round corners.
Accurately measuring the displacement from a fixed
point couldn't be easier than with the DWT transducer
from RDP Electronics Ltd. Using a draw-wire principle,
the DWT transducer body is simply bolted to the point
of reference allowing the plastic-coated draw wire to
be extended and attached to the moving part of the
system.
Measurements can be made point-to-point or even around
corners for displacements from a maximum of 600mm up to
3.5m, all combined with a high degree of accuracy. Special
versions are available for measurement ranges up to 100mm
or 7.5m.

4). Miniature Pressure Sensor uses new DCE technology.
The new miniature piezoresistive absolute pressure
sensor, Type 4005A, from Kistler uses new Direct
Chip Exposure (DCE) technology to provide superb
linearity, minimal hysteresis and an extremely high
natural frequency.
The M5 size sensor is ideal for measurements in intake ports,
gas exchange investigations and many other static pressure
measurements.

5). Michell Instruments accredited by UKAS
for relative humidity calibrations.
Michell Instruments Ltd has been awarded accreditation
by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) to perform
calibrations on relative humidity instruments at their laboratory
in Cambridge.
This indicates the highest level of confidence, from the UK's national
accreditation service, in a laboratory's ability to perform calibrations
in a controlled and repeatable manner.
