NEW PRODUCT RELEASES
======================
1). Explosion-proof Pressure Sensor.
American Sensor Technologies offers the Model AST 4600
Explosionproof Pressure Sensor for use in hydrogen service
and other hazardous applications such as refineries, water
treatment plants, natural gas compressors and power generation.
Employing a thick one-piece 316L diaphragm free of internal
0-rings, welds and fill fluids, the AST 4600 pressure transducers
perform accurately and safely in hydrogen applications without
the threat of sensor failure caused by hydrogen permeation.
Approved to CSA 30 (UL 1203) Class 1, Div. 1, Explosionproof,
Groups A, B, C and 0, units can withstand the high vibration
and temperature extremes common in hydrogen applications.

2). New Data Logger for remote monitoring up to 250 channels.
New from Techni Measure is the TML data logger used for
remote monitoring of up to 250 channels with appropriate
switching boxes.
The TDS-300 has no internal operating unit, switching box or
printer, and communication to a computer is by an RS-232C
interface or modem. Unlike other units in the TDS family which
can be used as stand alone data loggers including memory
and printout, this instrument requires connection to a computer
for control and to download the data. This can be accomplished
on site with a laptop or via a modem link, and control software
is supplied as standard.

3). Long stemmed meters for tank measurements.
New long stemmed meters offer accurate and cost-effective
density and viscosity measurement in difficult tank applications.
Solartron Mobrey has extended its range of vibrating fork density
and viscosity meters with a series of long-stemmed versions, ideal
for top-mounted, direct-insertion into storage, mixing and process tanks.
With no need for side access or a sample loop, the new products
allow cost effective, accurate density measurement in a wide range
of traditionally demanding, difficult to measure applications.
The microprocessor-based meters use Solartron Mobrey¹s
market-leading vibrating fork technology to measure the density
and viscosity of the liquid. They are suitable for monitoring and
control duties with liquids in the density range 0-3000 kg/m3
and viscosity range 0.5 to 20,000cst.

4). New pocket-sized Sound and Vibration Analyser
A new, smallest ever, full-featured sound and vibration
analyser has been launched by international acoustics
and vibration specialist, Brüel & Kjær.
The easy-to-use analyser was developed to provide a quick,
cost-effective solution for noise and vibration measurement,
analysis and troubleshooting applications by providing engineers
with the power of a CPB, FFT or Run-up/Run-down analyser in
a ultra compact PC card and break-out box package small
enough to fit into an accessory pocket of a laptop bag.
The PULSETM Lite 2.0 Pocket Noise and Vibration Analyser,
Type 3560-L, is an entry-level analyser platform based on proven
Windows® technology that enables engineers to immediately
start investigating or studying the sound and vibration aspects
of a wide range of engineering applications including automotive,
white goods and rotating machinery as well as being ideal for
education, consultation and service requirements.
