Digital Motion Sensor - PD6005.

This Device combines the features of a small mechanical ball motion sensor and digital electronics. The offered sensor provides transformation of the random impedance input signal to a corresponding digital output voltage signal and is designed for a permanent installation onto a PC board. Some benefits are: wide range of power supply voltages and output digital signal voltages; high reliability; water and air proof construction; and TTL, DTL, ECL, MOS, CMOS compatible output. PD6005 applications include: machine control and process monitoring; real time motion monitoring; motion triggered wake-up; industrial and scientific feedback application.

Average Equivalent Frequency: The quantity of impulses which has been developed by a sensor as a result of an external mechanical impulse of force, divided by an activation time in seconds.

Activity: The quantity of impulses (number) which has been developed by a sensor as a result of influence of an external mechanical impulse of a force to the sensor.

Turn-On Switching Response Time: The switching time of the sensor between the high (OFF condition) and low (ON condition) impedance. Switching process is from OFF to ON.

Dwell Time: The time during which the sensor has an ON condition (low impedance) in the process of switching to OFF-ON-OFF.

Turn-Off Switching Response Time: The switching time of the sensor between the low (ON condition) and high (OFF condition) impedance. Switching process is from ON to OFF.

Activation Time: The time during which the sensor develops electrical impulses after the cessation of an external impulse force.
