Toyota Motor Corporation enters cooperation project
with Bruel & Kjaer.
Toyota Motor Corporation has selected the Brüel & Kjær
PULSE platform as a basis for a new Noise and Vibration
Analysis System for vehicle test-track use.
The system will be developed with close cooperation between Toyota's
R&D headquarters in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan, and Brüel & Kjær
during the latter half of 2002.
The reasons for Toyota's decision include:
* PULSE is a constantly evolving, scalable NVH platform, with a wide
variety of software applications and high performance hardware.
* PULSE is a well-proven platform with a worldwide installed base
of more than 3000 systems.
* Brüel & Kjær's strong presence in Japan through exclusive distributor
Matsushita Inter-Techno Co., Ltd.
In partnership with Toyota, Brüel & Kjær is dedicated to further
development of the PULSE platform, so as to help Toyota
continuously increase productivity in vehicle development.
