
Bruel & Kjaer's 'Acceleration 2002' strategy
goes from strength to strength.
Two years ago, Brüel & Kjær launched the new strategy
called "Acceleration 2002".
The strategy's goal - and Brüel & Kjær's "Vision" - is to become
the preferred partner and solution provider to all leading
companies and institutions working professionally within
sound and vibration test and measurement.
As part of the strategy for 2002, a number of initiatives were
started.
These included:
* Strengthening the companies foundation for growth as one
global company
* Increasing investment in knowledge development
* Introducing new initiatives to develop Brüel & Kjær's position
in key market segments
One of the core initiatives was to establish a new specialised
automotive team to develop and expand the sale of the PULSE
multi-analyzer platform to the automotive industry - not only the
world's major automotive companies but their sub-suppliers
and material manufacturers also. Over the last few years, Brüel
& Kjær has developed the PULSE platform to serve the needs
of automotive sound and vibration test engineers.
The recent announcement that Toyota has entered a new cooperation
project with Brüel & Kjær is just one example of the continuing success
of the Brüel & Kjær strategy plan for 2002.
