Bruel & Kjaer UK Ltd. - PRODUCT NEWS
Bruel & Kjaer launches new accelerometer catalogue.
Bruel & Kjaer has launched a new version of its Accelerometer and Conditioning Product catalogue to showcase its latest product range, including the versatile DC Response Accelerometers.
These Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) DC response accelerometers are designed to be incredibly robust and are suitable for testing dynamic acceleration effects on a number of applications, from automotive to aerospace. They can withstand high mechanical shocks of up to 10 000g and have been gas-damped, making them resistant to temperatures ranging from -54oC to +121oC.
Ideal for measuring low frequency, motion and the tilt of objects under constant force, the DC Accelerometers can be used for studying acceleration effects within many industries including aerospace (for testing aircrafts, missiles, helicopters and satellites) and automotive manufacturers (for testing airbags and seats). They are also suitable for railways, ground transportation testing, structural testing and even studies on whole body motion.
Bruel and Kjaers DC Response Accelerometers are individually calibrated to provide a specified frequency range and offer two operating temperature ranges to suit customer requirements.
Along with the catalogues and other literature designed for customer support, Bruel & Kjaer offers free interactive training sessions called WebEx.
The online courses run throughout the year with topics such as human vibration and PULSE User Training. WebEx seminars can be viewed here
The company also runs training courses throughout the year; the full 2008 calendar is available here
