Taking the Mic...

Brüel & Kjær launch latest Microphone and Accelerometer catalogues

Sound and vibration expert, Brüel & Kjær has launched updated versions of both its Accelerometer and Microphone catalogues, the latter of which also includes details relating to their range of specialised Hydrophone transducers.

Brüel & Kjær’s hydrophones are absolutely waterproof and highly resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for use in water, liquids or gases. Each individually calibrated microphone contains a flat frequency response and provide omnidirectional measurements over a wide frequency range.

The four available versions offer different features to suit the varied, rigorous tests that hydrophones are typically used for in industrial or laboratory experiments, such as ultrasonic or high frequency testing. They can also be used for many other types of aquatic tests, including acoustic studies of marine animals, underwater projection and noise measurements in humid or polluted atmospheres.

For a copy of either catalogue or for more information, please contact Bruel & Kjaer UK on 01438 739 000 or email
