Intrinsically Safe Multifunction Calibrator introduced.

Beamex has introduced an intrinsically safe ALL-IN-ONE
truly multifunction calibrator accordance with the
EEx ia IIC T4 classification and the ATEX directive (II 1 G).

The MC5-IS calibrator suitable for hazardous environments
includes basically all functionality required: pressure, temperature
 and electrical signals including frequency and pulses. The 1P65
rated casing is designed for use in tough environmental conditions.

MC5-IS is provided with an internal HART® modem. The MC5-IS
HART® communication enables calibration and trimming of
HART® transmitters as well as viewing and editing the settings
of a HART® transmitter. This means that MC5-IS replaces the
need for a separate HART® communicator in HART® transmitter

The modular construction of MC5-IS makes the calibrator extremely
adaptive for applications requiring wide pressure ranges. It can be
equipped with up to three internal pressure modules covering
ranges from 100 mbar to 160 bar. Furthermore, a wide choice
of external pressure modules covering ranges up to 1000 bar allows
for future expansion when new needs arise. Pressure, temperature
and electrical sections may be installed simultaneous in a single
unit. Both numerical and graphical as found and as left calibration
results can be viewed, along with the instrument history. A full-text
display gives detailed calibration procedures, graphical presentations
of the work just performed, instructions and test data. The interface
is menudriven and supported in multiple languages.

The MC5-IS calibrator is provided with an easy to change
rechargeable battery package.
