Druck announce a new generation of Industrial Pressure
Transmitters which combine modular design with the
latest advances in ASIC technology and surface mounted
electronics.
This provides a compact, lightweight and cost effective solution, readily
available for a wide range of industrial pressure measurement applications.
The new PTX 7500 series employs Druck's piezo-resistive silicon
technology. This has been extensively qualified and proven, for example
in aerospace and subsea programmes which demand the highest
levels of performance and long term reliability.
The PTX 7500 series features a 'standardised' core which is selected
and finished according to customer requirements. Available in operating
pressure ranges from 250 mbar up to 700 bar gauge or absolute,
any preferred pressure unit and intermediate span can be specified
between these limits. In addition, the electrical connection is detachable
with three options available: the popular DIN 43650 waterproof plug/socket,
integral vented cable or 6-pin bayonet plug.
Typical accuracy is ±0.1% F.S. BSL for combined non-linearity,
hysteresis and repeatability and the operating temperature range
-40°C to 100°C is standard for connector versions.
The sensor is enclosed by an electron beam welded stainless steel
body and Hastelloy isolation diaphragm. This rugged construction
ensures compatibility with a range of pressure media and the
ability to withstand even severe operating conditions.
