Upgrade offer for users of “druck” industry standard portable
DPI 600 pressure calibrators to benefit from latest developments.
GE Druck, leading manufacturer of the industry standard
DPI 600 series of portable pressure calibrators for over
20 years, announces a limited offer for it’s many thousands
of users worldwide.
This will help them to upgrade to the latest generation DPI 615 intelligent
documenting calibrator or multifunction/temperature equivalent, the
TRXII. A substantial 25% part exchange allowance, irrespective of
condition, will be made on a one-for-one basis. This offer is available
for all orders received by 31st December 2002.
The DPI600 series is renowned for long term reliability and service life,
but the DPI615/TRXII offer many additional time saving benefits. For
example, dual displays simultaneously show both the input and output
of device under test. Task menus simplify a range of applications eg
transmitters, transducers, gauges, switches, etc. Ranges are now from
2.5mbar up to 700 bar with improved pneumatic/hydraulic generators
and measurement accuracy up to 4 x greater.
Another key advantage of the DPI615 over it’s predecessors is the
automatic calculation of instrument input/output errors and reporting
of a pass/fail condition. Combined with the ability to draw graphs, this
powerful error analysis function removes the need for traditional manual
calculations and the user burden of generating pressure test values
at exact cardinal points. Operator time and effort is greatly reduced
and the possibility of manual errors eliminated.
Both calibrators are fully documenting with RS232 or PCMCIA card
interface. This enables the user to download specific calibration
procedures and work schedules, which prompt the operator when
out in the field. Individual test results are then stored and the data
simply uploaded directly to a PC based record system when the
work schedule is complete. This increases productivity, quality and
documentation, saving valuable time and reducing costs.
If required, Druck can also supply dedicated PC calibration software
such as Intecal-W. This complements the DPI615/TRXII and provides
a total calibration management system. It also helps to ease the
burden of quality standards compliance placed upon the operator.
For users whose test and calibration requirements include
temperature/electrical parameters, the multi-function TRXII is
also available. This calibrator offers similar advantages to the
DPI615 but also measures, sources and simulates RTDs,
Thermocouples, mA, volts, ohms, frequency, pulses and switches
in addition to pressure.
