Miniature Acceleration and
Disturbance Switches
For impact, anti-tamper, alarm, and tilt applications in the
automotive, medical, and arming/disarming applications,
this new range of inertia-devices by Select-Controls, the
renowned acceleration switch people, is now available
from EuroSensor, the London-based acceleration and
tilt specialists.
Capable of operation from -40°C to + 120°C, they come with normally
open or closed contacts, and models with momentary contact closure
are available, Depending on the selected model and the agreed
calibration, units can operate in linear, planar or omni directional mode.
Models from 0.5G to 10,000G are available acceleration options,
whilst tilt models are available for ± 18°, 95° and more, and for
5° to 60° in tiny TO-5 cases to cite but a few examples.
Typical switching capacity is 200mA at 24vDC or even 5A for
10mS pulse in the TO-18 model.
Uses from missile arming applications to wheel velocity trips are
proven bulk-quantity applications. Precise spec-data & samples
are available in return for customers filling in their requirements on
specially designated request forms sent out with initial mailing.
