Monitor checks bunded tank condition.
The most common cause of water course pollution is the
leakage of oil from commercial fuel tanks, this has been
addressed by the introduction of bunded tanks. However,
the bund should be checked weekly in case the tank has
developed a leak and requires repairs.
The Fozmula Bund Monitor checks the condition of the bund on
demand so that the integrity of the tank is known or if a leak has
occurred. The BM series is mounted to a vertical or horizontal
surface of the bund or outer safety tank of a storage tank system
by two strips of hook and eye tape, which allows for any convex
curvature of the tank outer surface. The system is a two part unit
consisting of: a float switch and an indicator unit that contains a
battery, LED leakage alarm indicator and press button to test
and actuate the system.
