Gefran presents a new family of solid-state, single
phase, zero crossing relays:
The New GD and GTD series with integrated diagnostics.
This new family was developed for industrial and process
automation applications that require continuous power
control monitoring such as process heaters.
The GD series is the "standard alone" solid-state relays.
The GTD includes an aluminum heatsink.
Control input is logic type (Vdc).
SELECTIVE DIAGNOSTICS, NO ACCESSORIES REQUIRED
All models are equipped with an alarm for interrupted load
(RPC function). The current is measured by a specific amperometric
circuit built into the device, with selectable ranges of 5, 10, 25 and
40A. Within the selected range, the limit can be set at 10 different
levels, bearing in mind the total load and possible splits (more
resistances or groups of resistances).
INTEGRATED PROTECTION
The GD /GTD relays are equipped with an internal MOV for circuit
protection. Protection against connection overtemperature and
an alarm for short circuit of the static unit may be added as optional
extras.
REMOTE SIGNALING
All models have a static output for remote signaling of an error status,
including RPC functions/thermal connection alarm/unit short circuit
alarm.
The relay's status is displayed by means of dual color led
(command/alarm).
