Matched shaft coupling benefits torque measurements

HBM has launched the ROBA-DS shaft coupling to precisely match its T40 torque flanges for improved accuracy and increased security when taking torque measurements.

The robust shaft coupling compensates for any existing radial, axial or angle offset that may happen when the torque flange is fitted. The design of the shaft coupling gives it a high torsional stiffness and a low mass moment of inertia.

Engineers can now be certain that the torque is correctly applied in the flange because the ROBA-DS shaft coupling is precisely matched to the T40 torque flange.
