Data acquisition card measures 1 kV signals with great precision
The latest 1 kV data acquisition card for HBM's Genesis HighSpeed measurement systems enables very accurate and rapid measurement of voltages from ±20 mV to ±1000 V signals with a measurement accuracy of 0.1%.
Particular attention was paid during development that measurements in categories CAT II 600 VRMS and CAT III 300 VRMS could be implemented that complied with the IEC 61010-1 safety standard. This was achieved by focusing on the electrical isolation of the individual input channels and ensures that users can carry very demanding measurement tasks with a high level of safety.
The 1 kV card offers six input channels that can be recorded in parallel with a sampling rate of up to 2 MS/s. The measurement accuracy is significantly higher than in standard solutions with sensor heads.
Suitable applications include power engineering, power electronics, electric motors and generators.
