Latest stainless steel high-load load cell benefits platform scales
HBM's latest PW29 load cell series are made of high-quality chrome nickel steel and conform to IP68/IP69K degree of protection to ensure they perform accurately in extreme environmental conditions.
Typical applications are platform scales of up to 800 x 800 mm as the load cells can be used in constantly damp environments and easily cleaned using steam cleaners.
The robust PW29 devices are effectively protected from overloads by an adjustable overload stop. The PW29 devices are available in 5 maximum capacity steps from 100kg to 1t.
The load cells are designed with an accuracy class C3MR up to a Y-value of 15000.They come with an NMI test certificate and OIML conformity certificate to confirm their high accuracy and suitability for use in verifiable scales.
Various commercially available cable protection systems can be mounted on the integrated thread adapter for very demanding conditions.
