HBM TAKES THE STRAIN OUT OF TRAINING WITH FREE WEBINARS!

HBM – a market leader in the field of test and measurement – has announced the dates for its latest series of free webinars, which will take place in February 2017.

Exclusively available from the HBM Academy, the informative webinars have been designed to fit in with challenging time constraints which can often make attending training courses difficult.

Specifically designed for those involved in tank weighing, batching or other industrial weighing technology application, ‘From the sensor to the control: How to get the most out of your weighing technology application’ looks at how to integrate your weighing solution with control systems and demonstrates how to fully utilise the benefits of cutting-edge weighing electronics and software. Taking place on February 21st at 9am, this webinar also reveals the potential time savings which can be gained on configuration, start-up, and maintenance.

Following on from this, ‘Strain Gauge specifications: What do I need to know and take into account when taking measurements?’ on February 22nd at 9am will clarify how to correctly interpret the properties of strain gauges and what specifications you need to pay special attention to in your application.

Culminating on February 24th at 10am, ‘Ensure minimal measurement uncertainty: Everything you need to know about setting up a reference measurement chain for calibration’, will provide a general introduction to transducers and precision instruments, including recommendations on measurement uncertainty and long-term stability. Presented by Dr. André Schäfer, HBM Product and Application Calibration Manager, this webinar will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about high-accuracy force, torque and pressure transducers and also the prestigious DMP41 amplifier – which HBM claim to be the most precise amp in the world for strain gauge-based installation.

Providing valuable advice and information on how to choose the correct transducer for calibration, this webinar will also help foresee any potential problems which might arise during the process, offering relevant solutions, where necessary.

Each webinar, which normally takes a maximum of 30 minutes, can also be easily accessed at a later date or simply used as a refresher course. In addition, all registered attendees will receive a link to the webinar, via email, after the presentation.

All HBM webinars are free of charge and open to anyone. However, spaces are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please reserve your spot by booking at www.hbm.com/en/3157/webinars
