New Hardness Tester has
increased range.
RDP Howden has launched the new HSV-30/30T
semi Vickers hardness tester with its increased
test load range of 1.96 to 294 Newtons, an increase
of 100 Newtons.
With this new capability, the HSV-30/30T now covers a wider range
of harness measurement applications including microstructure of
metallic materials, surface-hardened layers, welded or adhered
sections, coated or plated layers, fine ceramics and engineering
plastics.
The tester features a computerised central control system to give
easy operation and high reliability, operated through a large LCD
touch panel providing excellent man-machine interface.
The test procedure is automated with test force selection, specimen
indentation and release, thus eliminating operator error. The test
parameter files are stored and can be processed by a variety of
analytical functions including average, standard deviation, coefficient
of variation, max and min values and a dispersion/histogram graphical
display.
Optional features available are an automatic detection system, a length
measuring system (CCD camera and monitor) and a compatible
printer using the standard RS-232C output.
