Hansford Sensors renews partnership with GT racer Tom Ingram
Hansford Sensors has reconfirmed its partnership with Ginetta GT Supercup driver Tom Ingram. Alongside his primary sponsors KX Energy, Hansford Sensors will continue to sponsor Tom for the 2013 Ginetta GT Supercup season.
Following a successful year where he just missed out on the title, Tom has continued to work within the KX Academy, which was set up to help talented young drivers that exhibit exceptional talent and determination. With an additional years experience, Toms chances of lifting the 2013 trophy look extremely promising.
We are delighted to maintain our relationship with Tom, stated Chris Hansford. He has over the last year shown his professionalism and skill to an impressive degree. Whats more, all that is reinforced by very solid support from his parents, which gives us the confidence that we are backing an extremely deserving driver.
The 2013 season begins on the 30th March at Brands Hatch. Hansford Sensors will be producing race by race reports, which will be found on the company blog at http://blog.hansfordsensors.com/, and its Twitter account, @HansfordSensors. For a more personal record of Toms progress throughout the season, fans can follow him on Twitter @TomIngram80, where he regularly uploads photos and information about each race weekend.
In just three years of racing, Ingram has won both the 2010 Ginetta Junior Championship and the 2011 Ginetta GT Supercup G50 Championship. The latter was won with two rounds to spare and included 10 wins, 18 podiums, 13 fastest laps and 13 pole positions.
