250 psi Pressure Measurement
Capability added to 26PC
High Pressure Sensors Family.
The Sensing and Control Business of Honeywell has
announced the addition of a 250 psi (pounds/square inch)
pressure range measurement capability to its 26PC Series
pressure sensors.
With the new high pressure 26PCF and 26PCG types, Honeywell
can now offer cost-effective pressure sensing from 0 to 250 psi.
These pressure ranges are compensated over temperature and
calibrated at zero and full scale.
Typical applications for the 26PC sensors include robotics, pressure
valves, leak detection, air compressors, gas chromatography, water
control valves, instrumentation, irrigation equipment, filter monitoring
equipment, oxygen and nitrogen gas distribution in hospitals, dental
chairs, and water flow measurement.
The 26PC sensor family has a wide excitation voltage range, making
it easily adaptable to user circuitry. A silicon sensor chip assures high
reliability and accuracy and a stable linear output over the entire
pressure span.
Three available port designs can be easily and quickly modified for
special needs. Operating temperature range is - 40 to +85 degrees C
(-40 to + 185 degrees F).
