New Pressure Transmitter from Huba Control.
Huba Control has launched the 507 pressure transmitter,
a compact unit which can be applied to systems where
space is limited.
The transmitters use Huba ceramic technology, which, according to
the company, makes them reliable and accurate. Each transmitter
can be programmed in-house to offer the exact pressure range for
the application. Also, customers are able to specify their technical
requirements for particular applications.
Customers can choose from a range of electrical connections, and
can select the best pressure connection for the application. Huba has
recently developed a standard PVDF pressure connection for use
in the chemical industry to measure pressures in hydrogen peroxide,
where stainless steel connections would cause chemical instability.
The relative transmitters have a pressure range from -1 to 600 bar,
while the absolute range from 2.5 to 16 bar.
All 507 transmitters have adjustable zero point and slope, which
allows users to calibrate the transmitters in-house.
