Image Compensator Sensor.
Inertial Aerosystems Ltd announces two new angular rate
sensors, manufactured by US based ATA sensors, which
are ideal for precision jitter measurement and control of
optical systems.
The ARS-12 can measure angular vibrations as low as 50 nanoradians
with Voltage Noise Power Spectral Density of 3×10E-11 V²/Hz
(noise equivalent angle <.05µradians).
Applications include image compensation enhancements and jitter
measurement and control in optical systems, laser communications
and electro-optic sensor arrays.
The ARS12G is a space qualified model using high reliability Class S
components.
The sensors can be supplied in single axis or 3-axis configurations.
The space-qualified package (shown) will enable image compensation
enhancements on the GOES, ALOS and other earth observing
satellite programmes.
