Sensing in the extreme.
New range of rugged non-contacting capacitative
displacement sensors from Ixthus are for use in
extreme environments.
They can withstand temperatures up to 1300°C without a cooling
system, and are vibration tested 3000g at 10kHz. With capacitance
of 200 to 400pf, the small size sensors ensure no disturbance to the
casing temperature distribution or shape. Available in many standard
configurations, they can be adapted easily to user requirements.
