Temperature Warning Indicator.
A stand-alone temperature indicator developed by Kalestead
can sense and provide visual and audible warning of critical
temperature variations either side of a user-defined level.
Tempalert obviates the need for the constant, close inspection of
a digital display on a panel-mounted temperature meter for example.
Instead, the current temperature level is continuously displayed by
high-brightness green, red, and amber LEDs respectively, denoting
that the correct temperature is attained, or that it is above or below
the required level. The lamps provide an at-a-glance indication clearly
visible at long distances, and may be backed by an optional audible
alarm.
Tempalert employs a Type K or T thermocouple, or PT 100 platinum
resistance sensor, and therefore mirrors its response lime and accuracy.
