LCM Systems extends accessory range and now offers Crosby Shackles and Rod End Bearings
LCM Systems has recently extended its range of accessories for use with its extensive range of load cells and instrumentation.
To complement its ranges of SHK and Telshack Load Measuring Shackles, LCM Systems is pleased to announce that now it offers Crosby Bow and D anchor safety shackles that can be purchased with or without LCMs link load cells and a selection of Rod End Bearings supplied and calibrated with an associated load cell.
Explaining the move to stock the shackles, Steve Sargeant, Managing Director at LCM Systems says: We became an official distributor for Crosby in December 2012 and were able to offer significant price advantages to customers buying our shackle load cells. Customers also expressed an interest in buying the safety shackles without load cells from a reputable company who could also provide full Crosby traceability. We were in the perfect position to satisfy their requirements.
As well as the G2130, G2140 and G2150 Crosby Safety Shackles, LCM Systems has also added a range of spherical rod end bearings to its accessories range. Designed to be used with LCM load cells that have male or female end threads, these rod end bearings allow the application of forces to be to be aligned through the load cells principle measurement axis. This helps to improve the installed accuracy and protect the load cell from any extraneous forces. Manufactured with a steel housing and a case hardened bearing, these new rod ends have the advantage that they are maintenance free and require no lubrication.
