Michell RH sensors installed in major new metro line

In January 2013, Michell China has successfully completed the installation of hundreds of WM52 RH transmitters in a Metro project in China.

The No.6 Line is an important trunk line which crosses the broad metropolitan districts of Beijing. The project is its first phase with a length of 30.69KM, consists of 33 stations of which 20 are underground stations.

More than 400 pieces of WM52 are used in critical areas like central control rooms, network computer rooms, as well as the platform waiting area, to monitor the temperature and humidity.

The WM52 was selected for the project because of its high reliability and quality, while the design makes it easy to install, even in areas that are hard to access. The customer was also impressed by the knowledge and expertise of the Michell team providing support for the project, backed by the company's 40 years' of specialising in humidity measurement.
