RVDT Transducer uses F1 technology.
Specially designed for harsh automotive and motorsport
environments, the RVDT displacement transducers are
suited to applications where performance and reliability
under extremes of temperature, shock and vibration are
paramount.
The transducer's low mass/high strength titanium body houses
a high integrity ratiometric coil and rotor, and it can be supplied
with a choice of stainless steel shafts and mounting flanges to
suit high performance, high temperature engine control applications.
As its performance and output are virtually unaffected by temperature
and supply changes, the ac operated unit is ideal for use in the
'difference over sum' (ratiomettic) configuration to provide high
system accuracy. It also offers a +/-60° electrical angle (120º total).
Other features of the new RVDT include contact-less sensing
elements, fast dynamic response, infinite resolution and virtually
infinite service life, precision low torque bearings and an operating
temperature range from -40° to +180°C.
