Gapman with Contact Type Sensor Wand
Capacitec announces the introduction of a new contact
type gap measurement sensor wand that acts like an
electronic feeler gauge.
Developed for turbine engine manufacturers to measure blade
tip clearance, this new probe combines the advantages of
precise gap measurement (<1% FS) with a wide linear
measurement range, from 0.03" (0.76 mm) to 0.118"(3.0 mm),
and ability to measure conductive and non-conductive surfaces.
It is used as a set up tool in a wide range of Industrial, Aerospace
and Automotive applications.
When used in conjunction with the battery operated GAPMAN™
it offers a highly portable and flexible gap measurement system.
