
RDP celebrates 10 years of quality accreditation.
Quality has always been a cornerstone of the culture at RDP,
and long before BS5750 quality accreditation was launched,
RDP had developed procedures and quality control
mechanisms to ensure their products met the high standards
demanded by industry, reliably and consistently.
This early groundwork in preparing standardised procedures for
the design, manufacture and testing of sensors, their associated
conditioning and analysis electronics meant that RDP¹s BS5750
accreditation in August 1991 was almost seamless.
RDP not only stands behind its belief in quality from design to final
testing and supply ­ it also has statistical proof of success. Since
the implementation of its rigorous quality regime, RDP has seen
a fall in even its previous low failure rates.
A commitment to quality undoubtedly improved reliability and
longevity of the products over the past ten years. With quality
reviews every three months, and an annual assessment b y BSI,
the regular statistics produced speak for themselves. Products
with recorded failures of zero over two years and zero
non-conformities of ISO9001 regularly reported by BSI auditors
provides customers past, present and future with the confidence
they need to specify and install RDP¹s products.
