range of sensors developed for automated metering and
dispensing applications ideally suited for automotive engine
and transmission assembly as well as for final vehicle
assembly.
The Models A-105 and A-105a are flush diaphragm miniature pressure
transducers designed with an all stainless steel welded construction.
This special family of pressure sensors provides the industrial
automation designer with sensor solutions unique to the application
of liquid gaskets, adhesives, and sealants.
The small size and small mass of the Models A-105 and A-105a
make them ideal for installation in automated assembly robotic
arms. Since each of these products has a flush diaphragm (no
recess at all), clogging is eliminated and cleaning is simplified. In
addition, the small rigid sensing diaphragm provides the design
engineer with the high frequency response and resolution required
for precise control of the dispensing process. Thanks to its electron
beam welded construction the transducer is extremely robust, a
vital factor contributing to maintaining up-time critical in assembly
applications.
