Sherborne Schaevitz champions precision measurement.
Leading measurement technology company, Sherborne
Sensors Limited, today  announce their new trading name
of Sherborne Schaevitz. The move confirms to the world
market the company's continued manufacture of the
Schaevitz brand of precision inclinometers, accelerometers
and force transducers.

Schaevitz is well known to design engineers the world over, as
the name  for this technology, still dominating the market after
40 years.  Mike Baker is Sherborne Schaevitz' Managing Director:
'We are proud to trade under the Schaevitz name - such brand
capital has huge value in our market, and it will reassure our
customers worldwide of our ongoing commitment to the technology.'

Sherborne Schaevitz has also been appointed as sole UK
distributor for the AccuStar, AngleStar and AccuSwitch range
of tilt sensors.  This range of products is an excellent companion
technology for industrial applications from cranes to tilting
platforms.  The AccuStar range of products will be available
alongside the Schaevitz precision Inclinometers, Accelerometers
and Force Transducers manufactured at the Sherborne
Schaevitz' manufacturing facility in Basingstoke, UK - known 
in the engineering community as 'transducer valley'.  The
company is situated just 40 miles southwest of London in a
location with excellent road, rail and air communications.

Mike Baker headed the management buyout last July, 'We have
had a solid first 9 months of trading and have now extended
our distributor network to include most of Europe, the USA,
Singapore and China.  With our technology being integrated
into instruments and products serving a wide range of
applications, the future's bright.'

The company's new name has given rise to an exciting new
website, that goes live today.
