RWT-310 and RWT-320 TorqSense
Rotary Torque Transducers.
RWT-3 I 0 units utilise a non-contact measurement
technique, mounting the transducer in the machine
drive shaft under investigation. They feature integral
electronics with analog outputs for torque and speed.
RWT32O sensors also feature digital outputs for torque, speed
and power, compatible with PC interfaces such as serial and
USB, are user programmable for analog signal levels, and include
built-in peak torque sampling, storage and averaging.
TorqSense transducers use SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves)
devices as frequency dependent strain gauges to measure the
change in resonant frequency caused by strain experienced in
the drive shaft, which is directly related to the torque and opens
up new horizons for all manner of machine control.
