Launch of the Open Standard for Innovative IoT Sensor Platform - M2.COM during Embedded World 2016

According to Gartner Research, the demand for connected devices will surge to one trillion by 2040. Research further indicated that there will be US $166 billion invested the IoT industry by 2020.

The tremendous opportunities afforded by the IoT and driven by the rapid development in sensor technologies, micro computing systems, internet and wireless communication standards, mean that sensor device platforms will become a key element to enabling the connected world. However, currently there are no open standards for sensor devices, and all the devices makers design their own products with their own form factors, which does not encourage the deployment of IoT devices. But now, Advantech in collaboration with global partners- ARM, Bosch, Qualcomm, Sensirion and TI have developed a new open standard for an Industrial IoT (IIoT) Sensor Platform. We welcome you to join our press conference to learn more about the latest IoT trends and developments.

We will present:

* The secret to speed up mass deployment of IoT devices

* Future trends of IIoT market

* The new open standard for IIoT Sensor Platform-M2.COM
