
SENSONICS AT POWER-GEN EUROPE 2006.
Condition monitoring specialists Sensonics Ltd will be featuring
aspects of their successful predictive maintenance equipment
on Booth No:U27 at Power-Gen 2006 together with a range of
informative brochures.
With nearly 30 years experience of providing vibration measurement
solutions on a wide range of machinery, the company will be demonstrating
the effectiveness of condition monitoring, with a vibration simulation test
system. Utilising a range of their vibration and displacement sensors in
combination with SpyderNet vibration trending monitors and the Sentry
machine protection system, visitors to the stand will be able to simulate
various rotating machinery fault conditions and observe the monitoring
and trending instrumentation in action.
As well as a broad selection of informative brochures covering their range
of transducers and monitoring systems, this year Sensonics will also
feature a new Turbine Supervisory Guide, providing practical advice, as
well as highlighting monitoring techniques suitable for industrial plants.
Sensonics manufacture a wide range of reliable easy-to-use vibration
sensors, displacement sensors and protection systems for critical rotating
plant, including high integrity products specifically for IEC 61508 (SIL rated)
applications and safety related systems. In addition the company provides
specialist solutions for ATEX, remote, underwater and radiation applications.
For the future, a significant grant recently awarded by the dti, will assist with
research and development of a new range of sensors and systems for
API670 gas turbine applications.
