Low Pressure Stainless Steel Sensors from Sensortechnics
The new SSC stainless steel pressure sensors from
Sensortechnics offer pressure ranges from only 0...175 mbar.
The media isolated sensors are designed to work in hostile
environments and yet give the outstanding sensitivity, linearity
and hysteresis of a silicon sensor. The piezoresistive sensor
chip is housed in a fluid-filled cylindrical cavity and isolated
from the measured media by a stainless steel diaphragm and
body.
The modular design allows for a variety of pressure ports. For
compensation of temperature effects, a resistor network is
supplied on a hybrid ceramic substrate.
Important features of the new SSC series:
* All welded 316 stainless steel (1.4401) for corrosive and aggressive
media
* Pressure ranges from 0...175 mbar to 0...16 bar full scale
* Precision temperature compensated and calibrated
* High sensitivity output of typically 125 mV
Sensortechnics can also offer customised versions of this sensor.
Reliable piezoresistive technology makes these new stainless
steel sensors the perfect fit for many medical, environmental and
industrial applications. The new SSC series is exclusively
available from Sensortechnics.
