Digital pressure sensors offer high overall accuracy.
Sensortechnics' new DSDX series features a digital
12-bit output signal and offers OEM customers
cost-effective pressure measurement from
1 psi (70 mbar) to 100 psi (7 bar).
The DSDX sensor can be connected directly to a microcontroller
via the digital I2C-bus. This eliminates the need for an additional
A/D converter and reduces system errors and noise. The sensors
re calibrated and temperature compensated from +10 to +85 °C.
The DSDX series reaches a high overall accuracy (including
temperature effects) of ±0.5 to ±2 % Full Scale Span, and is
intended to be used with air and non-corrosive gases.
The new DSDX pressure sensors incorporate the latest ASIC
technologies to enable a high specification in small DIP-packages.
Important features of the new DSDX series are:
* Pressure ranges from 1 psi (70 mbar) to 100 psi (7 bar)
* Absolute, differential and gauge pressure measurement
* Digital 12-bit output signal via I2C-bus
* Overall accuracy of ±0.5 to ±2 %FSS
* Temperature compensated from ?10 to +85 °C
* Small DIP-packages
The new digital DSDX series is based on the proven performer
and industry leading SDX series sensor and offers OEM
customers completely new pressure sensing possibilities.
Typical applications include medical instrumentation, barometry,
HVAC and pneumatic controls.
