National Physical Laboratory supports Instrumentation Scotland & Offshore Systems 2014

Trident Exhibitions are pleased to announce that the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) will be supporting the biennial Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore Systems exhibition, which returns to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 3rd and 4th September 2014.

NPL reports a strong demand for its products and services in both the energy and oil and gas sectors, with companies requiring access to accurate measurement and calibrations. Particularly ensuring the performance of products and services under specific operating conditions. The NPL reports that although it is a mature sector, the market for measurement and calibration services still offers major opportunities and therefore NPL are happy to support Instrumentation Scotland & Offshore Systems next year.

NPL join The Institute of Measurement & Control and The Profibus Group in their support for the show. Which also has Platform, Instrumentation and Energy Management publications as media sponsors.

Now in it’s eleventh year, bookings for the 2014 event are going well with more than 80% of stand space already sold and still nine months to go. This is testimony to the exhibitions enduring success. This is testimony to the exhibitions enduring success. Exhibitors who have reserved stands include ABB/Wika/JWF Process Solutions Alliance, Honeywell Control Systems, Caledonia Instrumentation Ltd, Draeger Safety UK Ltd, Isothermal Technology and Weidmuller Ltd amongst others.

Located in the heart of the Offshore industry in Aberdeen, the exhibition brings together the many companies who supply products and services specific to the offshore industry in addition to others representing processing, power generation, paper, distilling, water and waste, and marine engineering in north east Scotland.

With the offshore sector employing many contract workers, time is certainly ‘money’ and Instrumentation Scotland and Offshore Systems offers both visitors and exhibitors an excellent way to network in an informal environment, within their own region. Face-to-face discussions and demonstrations allow both visitors and exhibitors the chance to understand each other’s requirements and act on them.

The event is free to enter and includes free parking and free lunch. Visitor pre-registration will go live from June but if you would like to be kept up to date on the exhibition and receive tickets please email your details to info@trident-exhibitions.co.uk
