New Series of Rotary and Linear Position Transducers.
Variohm-EuroSensor announce a NEW Series of rotary
and linear position transducers designed to operate on
DeviceNet® enabled networks.
Ideally suited to industrial applications, this series of transducers
transmit 16-bit "absolute" position data over a high speed network
directly into a PC via the DeviceNet® communications link.
Manufacured by Celesco Transducer Products the linear units
models P11 DN, PT5DN, PT8DN and PT9DN are available in
full stroke ranges from 2 inches (50 mm) to over 140 feet (42672 mm).
As with all Celesco cable extension transducers this new series is
easy to install and doesn't require perfect alignment in order to operate.
The rotary units, models RT8DN and RT9DN, have been designed to
withstand extremely harsh factory environments and are available in
measurement ranges from 45 degrees to 200 turns.
Reliable performance and seamless operation are the hallmark of
all Celesco products. At the heart of each transducer is an extremely
reliable conductive plastic potentiometer which is operated by a
wire and drum system, tensioned by a reverse wound spring.
Each of these sensors is individually addressable and are easily
connected and configured to a standard DeviceNet® network.
