New IP67 Sealed Slim line Linear Transducer.
For many years Variohm have successfully supplied
Position Sensors into the Autosports Industry.
Our success has mainly been due to our track and elastomer damped wiper
technology, which ensures a longer life expectancy and excellent contact
between the wipers and tracks, even under severe vibration.
Over the past 12-18 months we have frequently been asked for slim line linear
transducers, which are able to withstand the harsh environment of Motor Racing.
During this time we have had many discussions with various teams and we
have listened to their concerns regarding their current sensors.
We are now pleased to advise that we have successfully developed and tested
our ELP linear transducer, which has a diameter of 9.5mm, is lightweight and
available in stroke lengths from 12.5mm to 75mm. The ELP continues to use
our proven track and wiper technology and is able to withstand temperatures
up to 175 °C. The ELP has many other features one of which is its excellent
sealing system, to protect against ingress.
The ELP is mounted using rod end bearings, which enables it to be used in a
number of applications such as monitoring suspension movement.
Variohm are also able to offer custom designed sensors to meet your exact
