IJ-6 Software-based Temperature ControllerUser-friendly control
Turn any Windows® computer into a fully-featured PID temperature controller!
Unlike most PID temperature controllers, where all configuration is done using the front-panel buttons, the U-6 software-based PID temperature controller allows the user to configure everything through an easy-to-use software interface.
Since all control is performed in software, rather than hardware, this results in greatly increased versatility and ease of use. Software features include graphical temperature display, file logging, gain scheduling, relay control and programmable temperature profiles with unlimited segments.Hardware features & specifications:
USB powered
Accepts thermocouple types E, J, K, N, T via mini socket
Measurement range -200°C to +1300°C (depending on thermocouple)
Resolution 0.03°C to 0.06°C
Cold-junction temperature measurement to ±0.03°C
Variable duty cycle output for SSR drive (11V 40mA max.)
Two general-purpose SSR outputs (50V 0.2A max.)
Cycle time 1s (time between sucessive PID cycles)
Full user manual with PID theory, tuning and examples of hardware connections
Software
The included control software (free to download from http://www.eyejayinstruments.com) provides an easy-to-use interface with access to all of the IJ-6 controller's features. The software has been tested on Windows' XP, Vista and 7.
