Larger Impress stand this year reflects its growing product portfolio

At the Sensors & Instrumentation exhibition (28th September - 29th September 2016) at the NEC, Birmingham, instrumentation specialist Impress Sensors & Systems Ltd (stand E16) will be showcasing its growing portfolio of sensors, controllers and data loggers on a brand new 3m by 5m stand. New products on display include a range of IEC Ex / ATEX-certified pressure and level sensors, as well as new digital pressure, level and temperature transmitters.

Visitors to the stand can also view a range of digital process meters and multi-channel controllers. The CMC-99 and CMC-141 multi-channel process controllers, for example, now come with Modbus interface as standard. The CMC-99 is a compact controller with a touchscreen display that is ideal for the simultaneous measurement and control in many process manufacturing applications, including centralised temperature measurement and control; multi-zone heating control; intermediate pumping station control; spraying and heating control for greenhouses; control of industrial furnaces and incinerators; and for engine test cell measurements.

The CMC-141 multi-channel controller is the 'big brother' of the CMC-99, providing all the same functionality and features, but also offers a larger 5.7-inch (320 x 240 pixels) backlit display, more inputs/outputs (up to 72) and new types of logic channels.

The MultiPrint MLP-149 is a thermal fixed head panel printer that communicates directly with the MultiCon series of data recorders and controllers using a mini USB interface, enabling printing onto standard 57mm width thermal paper or onto self-adhesive labels.

Impress Sensors & Systems Ltd has more than doubled its annual sales turnover since 2011. The company has a growing portfolio of products and new products being development for launch in 2016/2017.

Impress is an ISO 9001 accredited company, with more than 25 years' experience in instrumentation design and manufacturing for a diverse range of applications. In addition to its standard range of pressure, level, distance and temperature instrumentation products, Impress offers a customised design service for customers that require non-standard instruments. These services are provided by a dedicated team of highly qualified professional engineers with experience of electronics, software, mechanical engineering and instrument design.
