NEW PRESS FORCE TRANSMITTER IS PRE-CALIBRATED. The new Type 9337A press force transmitter from Kistler Instruments (www.kistler.com) has been developed specifically to meet the needs of QA (quality assurance) monitoring of volume production. The integrated, digital charge amplifier providing a normalised voltage output signal eliminates the need for expensive, screened cables. All operational needs being served by a single cable carrying measurement control, range selection interface and excitation voltage in addition to the signal output. The serial interface allows all operational parameters to be set remotely. For test purposes, the digital measurement data can be transmitted at a reduced data rate. Sealed to IP67, the new transmitters are suitable for use in dirty and wet industrial environments Included with the new press force transmitter is "ManuWare", powerful new PC based software that provides a set of flexible tools for a wide variety of manufacturing measurement and monitoring applications. Flanges at both ends of the transmitter simplify direct mounting on the bed of the press tool whilst the elimination of the need for routine re-calibration makes the Type 9337A force transmitter ideally suited to practical volume manufacturing applications.
