ManuWare software makes setting up charge amps and sensors easy.
And, it's free.

Kistler Instruments has introduced new software to simplify setting the parameters of industrial charge amplifiers and transmitters. ManuWare, free software to run on any modern PC, will automatically identify new generation charge amplifiers and transmitters equipped with a computer interface.

As soon as an amplifier or transmitter is connected to the PC it is identified by the AutoScan function, which creates a list showing the status of all connected instruments. Instrument groups may be structured a project. Dialogs tailored to each particular instrument make parameter configuration very intuitive.

A graphical display of the test measurements and auxiliary functions for scaling indirect measurement help the user set up force measurement applications. The number of simultaneously supported measuring channels is only limited by the power of the computer being used.

Fully configured device settings can be stored on the PC making it exceptionally easy to install replacement instruments and provide identically configured measuring chains for other similar applications.

ManuWare currently supports industrial charge amplifiers ICAM Type 5073A and new transmitters Type 9337A (force) and Type 9238A (strain), and is available free of charge. The range of supported instruments is growing all the time. In the future it will be possible to configure even the more complex CoMo Net® control monitors and the KSM electromechanical NC joining system with ManuWare.
