Omega lauches new Transmitter range.
Manufactured by OMEGA, the new range of HX93A
economical transmitters provide continuous on-site
monitoring of relative humidity and temperature.
The device utilises a thin film polymer capacitor to sense relative
humidity, and a Platinum 100 ohm RTI) to sense temperature.
A stainless steel mesh type filter protects the sensors.
The HX93A has a measuring range of 0 to 95% RH and -20
to 75°C, with an accuracy of ±2.5% RH & 0.6°c. The output is
a linearised 4-20mA or 0-1Vdc.
The unit is powered by a 6 to 30Vdc unregulated supply. This
unusually low minimum voltage of 6V allows the use of large
impedances for longer wire runs afld current output models
can he mounted virtually any distance from the readout device.
The HX93A has Wall, Duct and Remote probe models, each
having watertight ABS enclosures. Prices start from £158.
