Piezoelectric Force Sensors and Accelerometers for Force Limited Vibration Testing

When vibration testing high value payloads, over testing can cause very costly and unnecessary damage to the product under test. Such problems can often cause expensive schedule overruns and project delays.

Using a combination of force sensors and accelerometers for shaker control, improved vibration testing can limit the reaction force between the shaker and test piece better simulating the real world environment.

PCB Piezotronics can supply both single and triaxial piezoelectric force sensors as well as a complete range of accelerometers.
