Discover Sensor Innovations in Three Live Demos - iC-Haus at embedded world 2024

Under the motto 40 Years of Innovation & Continuity, iC-Haus, a medium-sized manufacturer of high-tech microelectronics, will be presenting its latest embedded systems products at embedded world 2024. Among the products on show will be the iC-BL RS485 transceiver for BiSS Line one-cable technology, the iC-TW11 ultra-low-power magnetic position sensor and the iC-HS ultra-short pulse laser driver.

With iC-BL, microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors and actuators can transmit data over long distances of up to 100 m using just two conductors. Due to modulation, the power supply is already included. Thanks to integrated error correction and low jitter, BiSS Line is particularly suitable for motor feedback applications, and any application requiring compact, robust real-time communication.

The Hall-based position sensor iC-TW11 enables low-power 10-bit angle detection and is therefore particularly suitable for position or speed detection in battery-operated applications. Typical applications include HMI interfaces with digital potentiometers or mobile robotics.

Precise TOF distance measurement, close-range lidar sensors, 3D scanners or laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy: these are the core applications of the iC-HS laser driver series. The fast laser diode drivers support ultrashort pulses from 100 ps to 5 ns, adjustable in steps of 1 ps. Their advantage lies in their particularly easy scalability for a very wide range of applications. Convenient interfaces and automatic on-chip compensation simplify and accelerate the development of highly integrated laser solutions.

Introducing iC-Haus
iC-Haus GmbH is a leading independent German manufacturer of standard iCs (ASSP) and customized ASiC semiconductor solutions. The company has been active in design, production, and sales of application-specific iCs for industrial, automotive, and medical technology for 40 years now and is represented worldwide.
The iC-Haus cell libraries in CMOS, bipolar, and BCD technologies are fully equipped to realize the design of sensor, laser/opto, and actuator ASiCs, among others. The iCs are assembled in standard plastic packages or using iC-Haus chip-on-board technology to manufacture complete microsystems, multichip modules, and sensors housed in optoBGA or optoQFN packages.
